Nostro Was the very late 90's and early 2000's & I really felt Gersey's first 2 albums were in the upper echelon of any - looking a decade back or forward. And live they were a treat. Fast forward - how did I miss this album 'till just now? Arguably their sound seems just a litte less dethached and enegmatic. However, the beauty shines through blazingly and this albums embodies everything that made this band great. At times intimate, others typically sparce & dynamic, but always evocative. Loving it!! Favorite track: She Knows.

Endlessness 07:21
Endlessness In the quiet of a dream, we are drawn away Standing in between, we cannot remain Buried in the dark still, we were left a little changed Shining in the distance feeling a little strange I was the city that I never wanted to see I was the storm that I never wanted to be Through the endlessness I rode a thousand days on a red torpedo star To hear a million calls for freedom On a broke down boulevard I call your name The desert smiled with welcome eyes And its dusty stolen grin Colours blue came stumbling through Shouting ‘Where the hell you been?” Through the endlessness

It Means Nothing I could be the spark for everything Moments blaze the first, throughout Come on easy rider, they all want in I’ll be close beside you, in a perfect sting I could be the cause of everything You could see the world without Come on easy rider it’s a nowhere fix I’ll be close beside you after all It means nothing I could be undone for anything You can hush the voice of burning doubt Come on easy rider it’s about to sink I’ll be close beside you after all It means nothing The old love songs that hide in the darkened corners Weaving simple lines The loaded faith of the lost and the searching Following the invisible light All the promises that we made It means nothing

Gersey Melbourne, Australia

"You will never really pin these songs down. Without ever trying to be "mysterious" this music with its repetitions which blur and softly distort, the detached vague lyrics and voice which seamlessly becomes another element, is".
